Overboring Kits for VISA engines

For the easy overhaul of VISA cylinders, we offer the following rare service:

We can hone your VISA Nikasil coated barrels. So running in of new ringed pistons is more easier. For this we have special and very expensive diamant honing equipement. The pistons are cleaned and fitted with new rings.

Price: 110,00 €

Gasket kit can be supplied at extra charge.

For Visa engines we have several overboring possibilities up to 800 cubic (Guy Dumont engine):

Without any mods at crankcase and heads:

KIT 720

  • The aluminium cylinders are fitted with a sleeve to accept 80,5 pistons.
  • An 81 mm oversize has been anticipated.
  • Total Displacement: 720 ccm.
  • Compression: 8:1. For 95 octane leadfree fuel.
  • Kit is supplied with barrels, pistons and seals.
  • Pistons have chromed rings.
  • Barrels on exchange basis.
  • Carburetor must be modified!
  • Necessary know-how: Those of you that can change the cylinders and pistons of a VISA engine can fit this kit.
  • Fitting and break in manual.

With boring of crankcase and heads:

KIT 750

  • Overboring crankcase and cylinder heads is needed.
  • With special cast pistons: Ø 82,25 mm.
  • An oversize has been anticipated at Ø 83,00 - 83,50 mm.
  • Total Displacement: 744 ccm, max. with oversize 749 ccm.
  • Pistons have chromed rings.
  • For 98 octane leadfree fuel.
  • Carburetor must be modified!
  • Necessary know-how: Those of you that can change the cylinders and pistons of a GS engine can fit this kit.
  • Fitting and break in manual.

KIT 750

  • Overboring crankcase and cylinder heads is needed.
  • With forged pistons
  • Compression: 9,5:1 to 12:1
  • Pistons have chromed rings.
  • Barrels and pistons on exchange basis.
  • Kit is supplied with all necessary seals.
  • Carburetor must be modified!
  • Necessary know-how: Those of you that can change the cylinders and pistons of a GS engine can fit this kit.
  • Fitting and break in manual.
Price incl. machining of crankcase and heads:
811,00 €

Because of technical reasons, the sparkplug seat in the VISA cylinderhead should be modified:
  The ignition retard and subsequent delayed combustion are prevented this way, and it allows for "normal" sparkplugs to be used.

This is why we offer:

Modified sparkplug seats in VISA heads (2 pieces)
Price: 63,00 €

It allows you to use "normal" commonly available sparkplugs.
