Camshafts, an area to which we have payed special attention...
A lot of customers inform us about camshafts that are
thrown onto the market by tuners and companies that would like to make
a "quick buck". One customer wrote to us about "extra hot" camshaft. This
had less lift then the original with the same duration and gave less power
instead of more!
From our company you will only get
camshafts with an optimized lobe profile and duration for each performance
level, including 4 camshaft followers and special coating for quick breaking
in and durability.
We use CAM PRO PLUS when developping our camshafts. This
is a high precision camshaft and profile measure system. The measurement
of the camshaft profile is done in sub-micron range precision. Computer
and software are our tools of choice, when researching and developping
the lobe profiles. But this alone is not enough. We know that the valve
train has to be seen in total, since the complete kinematic relationships
are of importance. That's why it we've never experienced an engine breakdown.
When your camshaft is worn out due
to too much lobe wear or worn out bearing we have in stock for you new
standard camshaft. They can been regrind to your wished lobe profile.

Very good allround profile with excellent torque in low
and middle RPM range. Excellently suited for AK 400, Acadiane and 2CV´s
with towing application, engines having all 650 cubics, well suited for
602 cubic engines and stock pistons.

Our fastest camshaft in 650/720 cubic engines. Mostly used in 720 cubic
engines. Nitriding to be recommended.
For race profiles full steel camshafts are needed since
the original 2CV camshaft doesn't have enough "meat" and it won't live
long enough...
More faster and sporty camshafts
can be found under VISA camshafts, up to full race cams that are not
or very difficulty drivable on daily use.
A known fact:
When a newly grinded lobe profile is used with a worn
follower, the new lobe will be ruined in no time...
That's why we allways
supply our camshafts including reworked followers. Camshaft lobes also
have a special coating to make the breaking in goes fast and well.
